The Oarsmen Village ...

... is called that name since more than hundred years because four of the entire seven Frankfurt Rowing Clubs found their home in these beautiful area. Nicely situated between gardens, the "Gerbermühle" (Tannery mill) and - logically - the banks of the river Main, the Oarsmen Village since ever is a popular destination for the Frankfurtonians. Highly recommended is the visit by bicycle along the river but for the car drivers there are enough parking lots provided too. If you prefer Public Transportation just hop on the bus line 46 and get off at the stop "Rudererdorf", from there are only 50 m left to the "Borussia".
